Dr. Salmassian is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, an honor given to less than 25% of all practicing orthodontists in the United States. To become a member of the American Board of Orthodontics, one must pass rigorous tests and take recertification exams. One must also strictly adhere to the highest standard of care and abide by all the laws and regulations of the board.

Dr. Salmassian graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University and attended one of the top ranked dental schools in the nation, the University of California, San Francisco. After graduating amongst the top of his class he went on to pursue specialty training from the prestigious Harvard School of Dental Medicine and obtained his orthodontic certificate from the University of Colorado, School of Dental Medicine.

He is a current and active member in the American Board of Orthodontics, the American Association of Orthodontists, the World Federation of Orthodontists, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, the California Orthodontic Association, the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association. He has published several articles in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Orthodopedics and always stays current with the latest in the orthodontic field.

He has extensive knowledge in all aspects of orthodontic care and is proficient in treating a variety of cases, from simple treatment of the mixed dentition to comprehensive surgical cases of adults. He is an Invisalign and Clear Correct certified provider and can offer cosmetic alternatives to conventional braces.

Dr. Salmassian is an avid soccer player and enjoys playing the game as much as he can. If you can't find him in his office you sure will on a soccer field! He also enjoys travelling, riding motorcycles, and spending quality time with his family and friends.
